Vinyl Coated Gypsum Panel Installation

To install the panels, the number of panels required must first be determined based on the available ceiling area. At SUNEXPO, we supply our customers with product options ranging from 300 mm to 1,200 mm in width and 300 mm to 2,400 mm in length.

Vinyl-coated gypsum board suspended ceilings are a modern product offering both a visually appealing and practical solution. They can be assembled and disassembled quickly and designed to suit the needs of the space. Professional assistance is recommended for the installation of such products. However, depending on the guide lines and your own installation skills, you can also perform the installation yourself.

You can follow these steps to install the panels:

  • First, the ceiling height is measured to determine how many centimeters below the ceiling height the suspended ceiling will be. The length of the suspension rods is then adjusted according to this distance.

  • U-profiles are placed around the ceiling and screwed to the wall. C-profiles are inserted between the U-profiles and secured to the ceiling with mounting rods. The profiles are spaced 60 cm apart.

  • Vinyl-coated gypsum board panels are fitted onto T-shaped supports.

  • After this stage, the ceiling installation is complete. Additional equipment such as lighting, ventilation, or sound systems can also be mounted on the suspended ceiling.
